Company

Archevos Corporation, the developer of Experdocs software, was founded in 2009.

The name, Archevos, was formed from the combination of ‘arch’ (archive) and ‘evos’ (evolve), words that produced the experdocs product vision: archiving evolved. The founders of Archevos Corporation believe that everyone using a computer needs an easy to use tool to organize, recall, and share information with anyone, anywhere and anytime. We hope experdocs provides you with the document solution it has provided users worldwide.

Scott Layne, co-Founder of Archevos, began to design experdocs to solve a problem he faced as a litigation consultant. Scott’s work involved organizing and reviewing 10’s of 1000’s of case documents. An electronic method of searching 1000’s of documents and photographs to find the one document representing a key argument in a case was important, but equally important was the ability to add metadata, including comments and notes to the files. Without the capacity to add intelligence, the program would function in the typical “file / folder” way we are used to, but would have no real impact, or solve the underlying problem of finding the file when needed most. The relational database method experdocs employs creates limitless possibilities to organize and recall files. With experdocs, it also solves a growing need in business for document sharing and collaboration. Learn more about this exciting, Patent Pending software today!
